Six hundred years have passed since the Veils between the worlds nearly collapsed. Magic flooded the otherwise Mundane world and threatened destruction all thanks to the technological meddling of a curious Human species. Over the centuries, new conflicts threatened the safety of this carefully balanced existence. Political upheaval, war, and wasting ecosystems have threatened the future of all. Yet, the people of the New Era have endured and grown. Now, at the end of two wars against the corruptive Shadows and an intercity war that nearly destroyed the Northern Alliance, the Neon City of Angwynn stands strong and proud as the epicenter of magical technology research and the first line of defense against the Scar. Its citizens live in a multi-leveled area protected by a barrier that keeps the Shadows at bay while the universal energy and natural magic is harnessed to restore the ecosystem of the one lush region.

Welcome to one of the oldest cities in the new world. Will you reside in its walls as a civilian, enjoying all that there is to offer?
