Scientists were aware of climate change and knew that they needed a fast plan of attack if they wanted to save the world. To protect the people of earth, these scientists worked together to create self-sustaining domes, allowing people to enter them as the predicted nuclear winter drew ever closer--for a price. You either paid or you worked off your debts to live.

By 2020, domes were everywhere around the world. Private citizens were allowed to take residence in domes, but they were required to shift their business models – they were donors. Because of the donor system, there was no need for multiple types of businesses - instead, they were to fold together and create large resources for people to easily follow. One law firm. One bank. One school system.

The year is now 2095. There are multiple domes, but the only one that has this unique design is the ‘Seattle Dome’. Created in 2020, after the dome in Munich failed due to a lack of proper testing, this dome is the most populous and prosperous in the world. At least, that's what they tell people. Inside, many citizens struggle to meet their basic needs while the wealthy sit atop gilded thrones eating more than their fill.

This dome, however, houses a dark secret. Their poorest citizens are here for a reason. The magic they began to show before being taken into the domes were labeled as a danger to society. A small crack in the magic dampening walls of the dome has become known to small group of rebels intent on bettering their own lives and the lives of their neighbors. These rebels will do whatever it takes to break free of the confines of the oppressive government of their domes... but will the outside be any safer?
