The main inhabitants of Autumnwood are it's Native people, the Ojibway tribe. Their home is a village in the middle of Autumnwood's largest forest. The Ojibway's are a spiritual people who believe in the power of Mother Nature and the spirits of their ancestors. The Star Maiden, leader of the Ojibway people, seems to come right out of legend. According to the Ojibway people, the Star Maiden came from the sky itself as a star which fell to earth to be caught in one of their trees. No one knew what to do about the star until one night, a warrior of the tribe had a dream. In the dream the Star Maiden came to him and told him that she had admired the Ojibway people from up above in the sky, and all she dreamed of was to come down and live among them in their fair land, if they would have her. So the warrior awoke and spoke to his tribe, and the Ojibway people welcome the Star Maiden among them and made them her queen, and ever since then the Ojibway tribe has only grown greater.
