i learned when i was very, very little that no matter where you go there's always going to be someone who wants to criticize you or judge you based on your personal decisions (or for just being the way you are). our response to negativity, our tendency to dwell on it, is totally natural - we respond to negative criticism and ignore positivity because acknowledging the negative and "fixing" whatever people choose to criticize is how we survive.
so, as a person who is extremely sensitive and totally understands having your day (or week, or childhood) ruined by one criticism, tell me: what do you do to flush out the negative feelings?
