*in the days after he and his parents practically fled in the night with his grandparents, has been "encouraged" to stay inside the Palace while his schooling's sorted and the rest of his family's belongings are transported to Menegroth*
*hasn't seen or talked to anyone aside from his mother, father, and grandmother, mostly because he's avoiding everyone else or maybe they're avoiding him* *checked out every Arda-history book in the Palace library containing information on Celegorm, Beren, and Lúthien—and when those proved less than helpful, got the unedited versions from Melian* *read everything the first day and spent that night wide awake and sick to his stomach*
*finally gets tired of pacing around the suite he's sharing with his parents* *leaves a note for them, slips past (doubled) security, and makes his way to the marchwardens' station in hopes of talking to Mablung or Beleg or Haleth or someone who's not going to treat him like a little kid both a friend and kickass enough to qualify as security* |
