*after his best friend went and got gay-married in his town, didn't think that anything exciting would ever happen in Lindon again* *sinks further into depression (or what passes for depression in Gil-galads) when Káni goes back to Ossiriand to be a nerd*
*gets stuck in to the running of things and can think of no way of avoiding sitting on a boring interview panel for one of the senior teaching positions at the military school*
*plays Noughts & Crosses with himself for the first batch of interviews, having made up his mind about each and every one of them based on his first impressions of them (Too old) (Too fug) (A ballet teacher??) (Too timid) (Too creepy)*
