*spends the morning working industriously on G.I.P. reports and files in his makeshift office at the House of the Fountain, having given his staff permission to work from home today because it's so cold in the Flower's temporary buildings*
*leaves early for his lunch meeting so that he can walk by the Flower, which doesn't look very different, except that the foundations have been sunk and he himself laid the first stone a few days ago*
*shoving his hands deep in his pocket, strolls to the small restaurant where he is due to meet Erestor (is getting the hang of going out for his meals these days)* |
