*spends a solid two days trailing his quarry from Ossiriand, following both the faint, crackling shards of dissonance she leaves in her wake and more traditional clues, like eyewitness recollections*
*reaches Gondolin and hits a dead end, or at least a very loose one, when he can't quite pin down the source of the Music he's looking for* *catches the echo of another Discordant presence almost immediately, but more or less loses interest once he determines he's fallen off the scent*
*listens briefly across continents for the Song he committed to memory in Ilmarin, hearing her flitting to and fro across Órë to collect her poor, unfortunate souls*
*satisfied that he's got his manner of surveillance sent up, drifts back to Delving and materializes outside the door of Mablung's apartment* *takes a deep breath and knocks* |

*despite herself, is actually enjoying living in Ondolindë, now that she doesn't have to put up with certain annoyances on a daily basis*
*as the hotel is doing well and practically running itself, has had a good deal of leisure time with which to enjoy reading again, to work on her music (has taken up the flute), and write her memoir*
*takes a break from all this today, though, to sit outside her favorite café and enjoy some gelato* *likes hazelnut the best* |
