Normally, the May Day thing wasn't something he would attend. He had no stakes in it, he couldn't eat, drink or enjoy the food that was cooking, but the moment he felt the sun fully set behind the trees his eyes shot open and he was up. Sookie was there, he could feel her presence nearby already, so in his mind that gave him every reason in the world to go.
Outside, he scanned the crowd looking for Sookie, giving a small smile and a curt nod in greeting to the strangers he passed as he moved. He wasn't exactly thrilled to be back, but surely everyone didn't arrive here instantly happy to be in a place that wasn't their home, but, things were starting to settle for him and being sort of pleasant was becoming easier.
"Well, don't you look like a faerie princess," he said from behind her, coming around to join her at her front.
