Hi again.

I'm at SXSW from now until Sunday and will have very limited leisure to post. I may be able to catch some email but probably not much of tags because I'll be on my phone and it's harder to switch IDs. Plus, the whole "not paying attention to emails while I'm in shows" thing.

We'll sleep in on Sunday and maybe I'll catch some email and tags and pick up speed again on Monday.

I'll also be AFK Wednesday through Saturday of next week due to a family visit.

I'd say I'm sorry, but it's a lie.

I suck at writing lyrics, so I'm not. Neither is Ali, really. The lyrics in her post belong to Aly and AJ. A lot of her *personal* stuff probably will.

FYI -- I'm getting notifications sporadically or not at all. If we're threading and I don't respond for an hour? Poke me on AIM. I'm trying to keep track but I'm sure I'll lose some here and there.

I'm moving tomorrow and I just found out (Cry!) that we don't know when the internet will be hooked up. Please don't beat me if I'm gone for a few days.

Just FYI, my email is being sporadic again so my responses are going to be sporadic too. I'm trying to keep tracks of all the threads I'm in, but if I miss something, the best way to nudge me currently is through AIM (matsujo9 or kmegatwork). If it hasn't cleared up by tomorrow, I'll be calling my provider.

My husband is on vacation from now until the 25th, and I have a metric shit-ton (or about 30,000 words) of crap due at the end of the month. I'm going to dedicate a couple of days in there to nothing but RP, and just game my little heart out - open posts, updates, characters in more than one place at a time if I need to.

What I know damned well I'm not going to do is get my regular updates due on time. I know this, because on time would have been yesterday, and it didn't happen. So, ease excuse my tardiness, and don't smack me. Also, be patient. I swear your mod will be back and bring plot with her.

So, Valentine's. There's going to be a box outside the gym (where the party is) for people to drop in Valentine's for people anonymously. This post will also serve that purpose. Comments screening on, I'll post them later. You can post them anon here too.

IC rules are to keep it nice and they will find you if they aren't.

I've been sick. Well, most of you know that, from my whinging over on LJ. But I sorta thought I ought to say something officially here, since I've been horribly absent. And I'm sorry for that. *sighs* My head was having trouble holding more than a thought at a time for a while there.

I'm also terribly behind on reading threads (although I'm starting to work on getting caught up) and thus, a bit lost where to jump in. I'm trying to regain my feet.

If anyone would like Kitty, or if I missed something I ought to have taken notice of, please poke me here or on IM and grab me, ok?

I'm currently not getting email -- or, at least, getting it very slowly (Hey! Spam from 11:07am!) -- so if you have active threads with me, please tag me on AIM or send me a PM to this account.

My apologies- I got saddled with my niece last night until 11 this morning... and I may have her tonight as well. I'm really sorry, this was an emergency situation with my sister. If I don't get back on tonight, I WILL be on Monday.

I'm going to go ahead and put up the post for the kids now. I have a feeling we're not all going to be on at the same time, so whoever is on and wants to can play in it without worrying about posting order. It' will be chaotic, yes, but then again, these are all teenagers and I have a feeling they'd talk over each other anyway.

Hey gang. I am late to the world of Middle Path, but here nonetheless. This is Sarah, for those what know me, and I'll be bringing in Cal/Mimic shortly. *waves round*

Mimic's power is to, well, mimic other powers. He can do this temporarily, but traditionally, he has a template of five that he's got on permanent recall as well. I'm posting to ask if there's anyone who is interested in having known Cal, met him or worked with him in the past, with the potential for having been permanently copied.

Please note, this doesn't mean that he's got your full power. He only copies at 50%.

Cal's a Texan by birth. He's a party boy and occasionally a smart ass. He's been working with SHIELD for the last few years and has been in and out of the country quite a lot, so he could have met lots of people.
