Background: The Nightroads are a strange family with a strict militaristic father (Adam), a mother (Lilith) who only wants to see the good in everyone, the twins (Cain and Abel), and their little sister (Seth). Seth and Abel are closest despite the age difference of five years. Cain was attacked a few years ago by a zombie only to be rescued by Abel who had managed to dismember the zombie with an old fashioned scythe that he had found. Since then, Cain has been slightly... off in a way that Abel has been unable to pin down and explain. Abel is kind and friendly to everyone, willing to help out with the younger children to the point that a few have teasingly called him "Father" Abel. He hates people fighting at the top of their lungs because it is too much like Adam bellowing orders at him. His relationship with Adam is highly strained because Adam doesn't understand him at all. Lilith claims Adam merely wishes to ensure his children survive, but Abel is hesitant to accept that explanation. For the right to grow his hair as long as he wanted, Abel had to become proficient with a gun, a weapon he hates because of the noise.
Discription: Abel is 15 years old with pale blue eyes and silver hair falling to just below his hips. He just recently had a growth spurt that put him at 5'8", but his parents believe he'll top out at over six feet. He is slender but muscular like a swimmer. He also almost always has a smile on his face and is a bit of a bookworm, preferring to stay up at night reading a good book than getting to bed at a "decent" hour.
RP Example: He groaned as the alarm blared in his ear and he fumbled for the switch, finally managing to turn the annoying noise off. He didn't want to get up, but he knew if he didn't start getting ready, his father would start bellowing for them to "Get up an' at 'em!" With great reluctance, Abel shoved the covers off and sat up, yawning and rubbing his eyes. He really shouldn't have stayed up so late last night, but Dumas was such a wonderful writer! And The Count of Monte Cristo was a beautiful tale of manipulation and betrayal.
He caught his reflection in a mirror and wrinkled his nose at the tangles in his hair. He looked like a tumbleweed! Sighing, he got up and started the long process of getting ready for the day.
