 "Look at Janie Now"
Janie Sperrek is Broadway’s new cutie on the block. She is a relative newcomer to the Broadway theatre district, having recently finished up her debut role as Galinda the Good Witch in Wicked, a role she played both on Broadway and in the national tour of Wicked. With many regional theatre credits and some national tours under her belt, she is not any sort of ingénue. In fact, she is currently playing the highly sought after role of cocaine addict Kate in Andrew Lippa’s Broadway mounting of his The Wild Party, which is opened this past fall. Janie Sperrek is in this week’s Spotlight, so ask away!
