 "Take a Chance on Rob"
Funny man Rob Etherson is making us laugh eight times a week as Timon the meerkat in Best Musical winner The Lion King. It has been a long and illustrious career for this young man, starting with small roles in Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party, Ain’t Misbehavin, and RENT. A lead roles in off-Broadway’s long-running The Fantasticks followed, as did a stint as Jack in Into the Woods. Rob broke hearts as lovelorn Laurie in the short-lived musical adaptation of Little Women and toured for two years as nervous accountant, Leo Bloom, in Mel Brooks’ The Producers. Say Hakuna Matata and ask Rob, this week’s Spotlight guest, some questions.
