Madeline Beechman makes theatregoers and monsters alike laugh nightly in her role as the 'Untouchable' Elizabeth Benning, fiancee of mad scientist Freddy Fronk-en-steen, in Mel Brooks' new musical Young Frankenstein, a role originated by the legendary Madeline Kahn. She is no stranger to the crazy and hilarious World of Brooks, having paid her dues in both the national tour and Broadway production of The Producers as the very sexy Ulla. Known to movie audiences as Evelyn from the well-loved A League of Their Own and to children everywhere as Miss Noodle from Sesame Street, Ms. Beechman has made it a point in her career to play outlandish and hilarious characters, and she does it well!
