 "A 'SERIOUS' CHAT WITH LUKE BEAUMONT"
Luke Beaumont has been a fixture in the Broadway community since he debuted in Beauty and the Beast in 1998. Known for his exotic good looks, Luke has made playing pretty boys his trademark. His most popular role to date has been as the original Winkie Prince Fiyero in the Broadway smash Wicked, where he was the love interest of both witches. Luke's other "pretty boy" roles have included Tommy Keeler in Annie Get Your Gun with Bernadette Peters, Paul Bratter in the revival of Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park, and Radames in the national tour of Aida. In a few weeks' time, he will be leaving the role he's held onto for the past year and a half, Warner Huntington III, Elle Woods' jerk (albeit a pretty jerk) of an ex-boyfriend in Legally Blonde in order to join the cast of Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party. Luke will be playing the sadistic, murderous clown, Burrs, a definite deviation from character. This week, Luke is thrust into our Great White Way Spotlight and is ready to answer any and all of your questions from home!
