 "DO YOU KNOW BENNIGAN DAVENPORT?"
Bennigan Davenport is one of Broadway's best loved stars. He's brought to life some of America's most iconic figures, like Tom Sawyer in Big River, Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (for which he won one of his three Tony Awards), and the Music Man, as well as put his own mark on a handful of colorful new characters, like Harlequin in Triumph of Love and the fabulous common-law assistant Carmen Ghia in The Producers. With a venerable film and television career to his credit, he has appeared on Desperate Housewives and The Stepford Wives among others, Bennigan has become something of a superstar in the realm of entertainment. He just finished up his Tony-winning (number three!) run in Gypsy alongside diva-extraordinaire Nora Gail, and is currently on his way to Seattle to tackle another well known character, Lord Farquaad in the musical adaptation of Shrek.
