"Clearly you aren't as cool as me," Tommy replied teasingly, shouldering the bass once more. In point of fact, and as evidenced by his large fanbase, Sascha was much cooler than Tommy could ever hope to be - he was an obnoxious nerd through and through, but that worked for him rather well. People tended to like him for who he was, and for those that didn't? Well, Tommy generally didn't pay them any mind.
Glancing around a little, as the crowds began to thin out, the curly-haired brunet decided that this crowd was much bigger than last year's had been. He'd been lucky enough to be able to perform last year with the 'Spring Awakening' cast as Melchior - the last of them actually - and it had been something really special. But this year's crowd had been really intense, and while he might have wished he could have been up there to bask in it, he knew he was still an important and helpful part of the experience for the audience. It wasn't really about the fame for him, though, but more about the ability to bring joy to the people out there watching it. "This was pretty awesome, wasn't it?" he then added, echoing his thoughts aloud. "Huge crowd. Did you stir up a bunch of interest for your show, man?"
