Jace took the offered frappacino with a big grin on his face. Laughing a little at Benji's comment before he took a sip, Jace realized he was more than glad that Benji had joined him tonight however accidental it might have been. He was feeling much better already, and he knew that if Benji hadn't come around, he'd probably still be moping into his drink. "Turtles really are delicious - we should get a box of them for backstage Tuesday," he said, as the idea struck him. As if Benji really needed any more sugar ... or any of them really. The Tribe was a pretty hyper group, particularly for a bunch of people playing hippies and stoners.
It was nice though, having such a tight-knit cast like that. Jace simply adored each and every one of them. It was really a lot like having the big family that he'd never had (or felt welcomed in, rather). He felt like he could confide anything in any of them, and they wouldn't judge him or make him feel badly about himself. And perhaps it was kind of nice being the baby of the group. He knew he'd always have them to lean on.
