Who: Riley Hayes and Wyatt Brady What: Coffee with a side of explaining? Where: Random Starbucks, New York, New York When: Back-dated to Wednesday 3PM Rating: PG-13?
Riley was nervous. It was like having the opening night butterflies or something but almost worse. No, probably worse because she was the one who had run off without saying a word to him. Scratch that, definitely worse. She considered canceling several times but eventually it had turned into time for her to leave so she had to just man up and head out the door. Slipping on a pair of Converse, she made her way out wearing a pair of jeans and sleeveless black top with a gray and white scarf thrown around her neck. Well, here went nothing.
She ended up arriving at their once usual Starbucks a few minutes early so she took the liberty of scoping out a table in the back after ordering her usual non-fat venti mocha. Coffee in hand, she walked over to said table and settled into the over-sized chair that faced the door. Drumming her fingers against the side of her cup and shaking the leg that was crossed over the other, she waited a bit impatiently, wondering if he was even going to appear. It would serve her right to be stood up and she wouldn't have been able to blame him for doing it either. Sighing, she ran her free hand through her hair and glanced out the window. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad as she thought?
