Who: Arkady and Tobias Stone What: Arkady is trying to read a newpaper in Starbucks on a Monday morning. Silly man. When: Monday Morning (early) Where: A Starbucks by work Rating: PG
Reading the Auto Vitrina newspaper was a blessing for Arkady, who sometimes just needed something purely Russian to sweep into his life after so many years living in America. The choreographer sat at a table in the back of the packed Starbucks, suddenly wishing he'd let Tobias buy him an iPod the year before to get the noise of coffee drinkers out of his ears and allow him to finish more than a page of reading before he'd have to close his eyes, sigh and take a sip of his plain coffee. He did just that as his blue eyes flitted across the room and tried to keep his concentration from going to far into people watching. He needed to get to work within the next half hour after all, and he was in no mood to be late for work, not when he needed to see how his Sarah Brown was doing.
Going back to his Russian newspaper, Arkady attempted to hum a little and get rid of all the damnable noise around him. It didn't help that Arkady's constant claims that his eyesight was perfect were, in fact, a midlife crisis of sorts, and he currently had his nose pressed almost to the pages of black ink and gray paper, his finger tips already stained. He would finish this article- it was a matter of pride now.
