RP Rules
1. NO GODMODDING - which means, don't write actions, thoughts, or words that a character, beside the one you're playing, would do/perform. You don't want someone to do it to you.
2. No netspeak. Please form full and coherent sentences using the English language.
3. You must be 18 years old to play as adult content will be involved.
4. You don't have to have RPed before, but it would help that you have some experience. A writing sample is required for the application.
5. Be respectful of other players and their ideas. Games work best when compromise can comraderie are possible.
6. Please have some form of instant messenger to make giving and receiving tags much easier.
7. Access to Google Docs is not required but it is suggested that you do have it, as group threads would be much easier that way.
Specific to this game
1. This game is run with the intent that it be more than strictly a shipping game. If that’s the only reason to play, then this is not the game for you.
2. The winners of each challenge will be determined by a dice roll. The highest roll will win. In the event of a tie, another roll will be done with the highest roll winning. The object is to keep it random where any team could win any challenge.(This is subject to change)
3. Hints will be given at the end of the challenge as to the next challenge. It is recommended that you have your characters work together to figure out the clues.
4. You are not bound by canon couples. Should you feel that your character should end up with their partner, that is perfectly acceptable. We are not discouraging shipping, we just don’t want it to be the sole focus of the game.
5. You are required to post outside of the challenges no less than two times a month. If it’s having them meet their friends at the Leaky to socialize or, as stated earlier, to brainstorm with their partners, that is acceptable.
6. Magic will be limited in the game during the challenges. Hexes and jinxes are not permitted against opposing players. Accio to whatever object they’re trying to achieve will not be permitted.
7. One large thread will be done once a month for the challenges. It will be a group effort, so you have to have the time to devote to it.
