They wanted the holiday to be about spending time together and not just opening presents and then spending the day fiddling with what we got.

The best is going to the zoo for their light display, lots of people think it's weird that we do sponge cake for christmas cake

i've never been to the zoo at christmas, but christmas lights are super pretty so i can def see that being a best. what flavor of sponge cake?

My mom makes a nice vindaloo but I think my favourite at the sweet dumplings she makes. She doesn't often cook a lot of things but goes all out at Christmas. Not that I need to eat that anymore and I am not sure the whole blood thing it will be the same.
