That's weird. It's like he's from another branch of the multiverse, but one that isn't too far away from yours. Otherwise he'd be completely different or maybe not exist at all.
It sounds like your Dr Strange was an exceptionally talented scientist. I don't think anything here is really 'magic'. There's stuff that I can't explain, but the limits of my own brain aren't the limits of scientific knowledge. Someone five hundred years down the timestream from me could probably explain much more than I could.
A lot of what he did was telling me to calm down and focus on tiny things. That's a kind of meditation, I guess? The more I think about the probabilities the more they expand out and get more jumbled, so panicking over it makes it much worse. Maybe the strategies you used to control your anger might work for me.
There's dizziness when I get overwhelmed by it. Being in L-space usually makes humans nauseated because you can end up seeing in more dimensions than a human should, or seeing the wrong ones. Astrogators take pills to control it. Someone had a theory that the younger you put someone into L-space the more easily they adapt. I'm guessing that my pills got switched out for something experimental, but I don't know any more than that.
