Well, that's a very vulgar way for them to have put it. I do believe that we have advantages over those of lesser bloodlines, but that is no reason to be unkind to them and certainly no reason to harm them. One of the reasons magical society is so much more advanced than the muggles, aside from the obvious advantage of our magic, is our long commitment to international peace and co-operation. Or I should say, it was. Grindelwald is determined to drag us into barbarism. The family traditions and values I uphold seem worth keeping to me.
But of course you won't want a lecture on it. You've rejected the values and left the family, and there's nothing I can do about that. I'd rather not quarrel, if we can help it.
Losing a little brother never really becomes easier, even if I can only imagine Walburga's reaction to you ending up in Gryffindor, even if it wasn't your fault at all. And the tension in your household if you and Regulus weren't allowed to speak! It all sounds quite awful. I suppose in your position I might have kept my opinions to myself, to avoid all the unpleasantness. If I'd 'lost my cool' with my parents I'd have been told I was overwrought and ill, and made to rest in bed until I was apologetic enough. It really wasn't worth it. Do you think Regulus knew that you cared so much?
