Yeah, that's mum. They tried to force me to do a lot of things I didn't agree with, adhering to family values and stuff. There's only so many times I could hear the whole 'we're better than all the lesser-blooded species' speech without losing my cool. I kind of diverged from all that thinking when I was still really young, but yeah it wasn't until I was sixteen that they finally kicked me out. I probably had it coming, but well. I've got my own values.
What an achievementNo Gryffindors? I guess things were different back then, but I'm glad that they got some kindness. Somehow I don't think Mum and Dad would have been kind to people back in Hogwarts but you would have known them better than me.
Yeah, I didn't really get a straight answer out of him when it came to that. I thought he'd been a little Confunded.
No, my parents kept us from speaking. He was sorted into Slytherin and I was in Gryffindor, so we... we pretty much didn't speak to each other again until just after I got kicked out, his circle of friends kept him from speaking to me, and I was too stubborn to try and do something about it myself. I always regretted not seeking him out, I always thought about him and I never stopped caring about him, I just put up a lot of walls to avoid thinking about losing my little brother. Cause... yeah. It was easier that way, I suppose.
