I will be. Think of it this way - which year is it that you arrived from? If someone told you that the very next year there would be a terrible disaster and thousands of wizards would die, including your relatives, and the entirety of your society would be altered for the worse, wouldn't you want to prevent it if you returned home? It is more like heeding a divinatory prophecy than meddling with a time turner.
You really are a dear, Scorpius. To Arcturus, wizards fighting a war is as unthinkable as wizards giving up magic. He is wrong, yes - but he will not be proven wrong in his lifetime, and so I don't see any need to upset the child by bringing it up to him. It would only turn him against us both.
