If anything, seeing the way he carries himself is almost a comfort to the girl, just barely on the edge of becoming a teenager, though if anyone asked her how old she was she wouldn't have an answer. She'd already had too many years of subliminal messaging and manipulation of both her mind and physiology, that some things ran together. Age didn't really matter though - she could still kill if she needed to.
Her head tilted a little as he answered her question, jade eyes blinking when he mentioned sides. She didn't relax as he crouched, but she did lower one hand just slightly, studying him even as she watched the couple across the street start away in her peripheral vision.
"I do not know." Her words are clipped, clearly trying for emotionless but holding some element of frustration. "I woke up in a room I didn't recognize. The door locked from the inside, so I left." Was that the wrong thing to do?
