Natalia's group had only just begun learning how to follow others, and how to recognize when they were being followed, so the fact that it took several seconds for her to feel someone's eyes on her could have been forgiven by her instructors, had they been there. When the realization hit, she shifted, minutely, angling her petite form just a little to try and spot who was watching her, but it was impossible to tell at the moment.
Inwardly, she frowned, then after a more casual glance up and down the street, she started to walk slowly. She kept a careful distance from the people she passed, eyeing them from her peripheral vision in case one of them suddenly became a threat, and then abruptly crossed the street when it was clear, to continue down the other side. The man standing by the window of a restaurant was overlooked entirely - which would probably be a mistake and had this been a true test, she'd pay dearly for it.
