Azrael was somewhat accustomed to people either staring at him or taking notice. It didn't matter to him. He had walked amongst humanity for thousands of years as one of them, always keeping what he truly was hidden from sight. There were some who were more sensitive to his presence that would never know why. No matter what time, day or night, he could hear the prayers to him uttered all over the entire world, but now it was just Preya's whispered prayers he could hear. And while he was present in the now with Will, walking towards the diner, he was several other places all at once, helping the dying, comforting those who prayed to him, and walking with those who had died to their afterlife. Azrael was a complicated man... He didn't mind the looks he got.
"Sure I do!" he replied with the most ridiculous facial expression. Some of his facial twitches and turns were extremely expressive bordering on over the top, but that was him.
"Come on, we'll get some ice cream, we'll talk and then after that, I'll leave you to whatever you wanna do, kid. I'm just here to help, is all" he added, leading Will up the stairs to the diner. He opened the door for him and led him over to a window side table so they could look outside. He wanted to see how Will interacted with the world around him.
Picking up a menu, he turned straight to the dessert section. "Okay so we've got vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, Reeces and vanilla, Raspberry ripple, Nut delight... whatever that is, Forest fruits... Cinnamon crunch..." he paused to turn the menu over. "Huh... they've actually got it" he turned the menu around to show Will, his fingers underneath the one he wanted to point out. Green Tea. It should have been a bit obvious given that it was a regular place for students. Seemed they were open to taking in suggestions from their customers.
