Once they were clear of the tiny little wooden shed, Azrael made sure that Will was stable before letting go. Once he was sure the kid could stand on his own two feet, he could rest a bit better. But for now, he was going to fulfil his offer, and get Will some ice cream.
There was a little place not far from the Institute that he was sure served ice cream. It wouldn't be too hard to find, hopefully. It was a little American style diner that some of the students visited. It was made to look like a 1960's diner with fake leather seats, bold coloured decor and a light up sign outside that read, "Debbie's Diner".
"So what's your favourite flavour of ice cream?" he asked as they started to walk away from the Institute. He figured if he kept the kid distracted that might help. Even if he had to make a fool of himself it would be worth it.
"I kinda like vanilla myself" he said, gesturing to himself with a hand. He shrugged. "I'm kinda boring like that. That's what I get here. But overseas? Sesame and green tea. That stuff is amazing. Kinda wish I could find it here. It's really good. Green tea ice cream is good for the soul" he rambled.
