Smiling back somewhat, he replied, "Thank you... I do not often say this but it is actually good to see you too"
Loki walked inside when he brother stepped aside. This all felt very strange. But it wasn't bad, was it? It was warm, it was comforting. And for now, it was best not to dwell upon things that might end up only being temporary. No, he was going to relax and enjoy himself for once.
"Apparently, this time of year, in this part of the world, is when people share gifts with one another" he said, turning to hold out his gift. "So... I made this for you. Well, part of it. The other part I bought" he added. Inside the bag was a bottle of mead, and a wrapped parcel. It was wrapped in red with a gold ribbon tied around it. Inside was a dagger, protected by black fabric. There was a leather sheath underneath it with the runic symbol for Thor embroidered into it with silver thread. It had taken him some time to craft the dagger. Instead of simply using magic, he had made it by hand. Hopefully his brother would like it. He knew his brother didn't exactly like daggers the way Loki did, but he thought it might be useful.
Once Thor had taken the bag, he walked over to sit down on the couch, watching to see what his brother thought.
