"Just water for me is fine, thanks," he said, stepping inside. He handed over the tupperware. "It came out better than I thought it would," he said. He couldn't honestly say it wasn't good, because when he'd tasted it, he was actually surprised at how much of a success it was, considering all the points in the recipe at which it could have failed horribly. Considering she'd baked them cupcakes for the fireworks, the least he could do was share some of the cake. It wasn't the sort of thing he was going to be doing a lot of, anyway.
