The mention of Peggy made Steve a little sad, as usual, but he mustered up a smile. "Thank you." He knew better than to not accept compliments graciously even though he felt he didn't deserve them. "Mr. Stark was instrumental in making me what I am and I hope he knew how grateful I was. Still am." His son, however was another story, and had been overly fond of reminding him that he was a lab experiment.
Then it hit him again, that Bucky, though against his will and under HYDRA programming, had been responsible for Howard Stark's death, along with his wife. That wasn't a subject for conversation right now, though. That had happened long after Edwin's time, luckily.
