"Of course! I'm happy to help!" After shaking his hand, she started to lead him off the campus and towards the mall. It would take a few minutes, ten at the most, before they arrived. In the meantime they could talk.
"Hey, I get it. You're new and you don't know the area. That was me a few months ago. I soon got to know everything-" well, most things, "-and here I am! Besides, going off on your own can be boring. Stuff like the mall is always more fun with others."
Perhaps that was why she liked doing live-streams of herself gaming or even on a shopping trip. At least she was technically with others then, even if she really was alone.
"Don't worry, there's a game store. There's so many systems and games here - they even have, like, game consoles that are replicas of the ones from your time! I mean, you grew up when all the good games were coming out, so that's pretty cool. There's also new stuff, but we'll start you off slow. All the new stuff can be total overload." Plus there would be so much she wouldn't know where to begin. At least older consoles and games had big replay value to them.
Looking over at him, she smiled and asked, "So, how are you liking Ravenmoore so far?"
