Will nodded in a slow thoughtful motion. He was accustomed to being part of the shamed group that no one wanted so associate with so it came naturally to worry about polluting Hana's reputation. Hiding was too much ingrained in his nature. But she understood the world far better than he did and he had to learn to trust people outside his meager circle. "I don't know how any of this works. If you think it is okay then I guess it is."
Big eyes widened almost comically at the revelation that drawings could be translated electronically. Could they, then, be shared over the internet? Could they be made better? "That's... amazing. I didn't know what existed. I don't have a computer though. There's no way I could ever afford that and I wouldn't know how to work it."
Will was unfortunately quickly distracted by the contents of the store. Though drawing and occasionally painting was his medium he was always at home amongst artistic paraphernalia. He had never been in a store entirely dedicated to arts and crafts before--- much less one of this size. "Uh... yeah. Sure." He replied automatically without properly absorbing the meaning of the words. The boy had no intention of letting Hana spoil him.
They reached the back wall a few moments later. A rich woody scent perfumed the air in this section, warding of the starched smell of fabric present close by. Will inhaled deeply of the comfortingly mingled cloud of paper, pencils, and graphite. His fingers reached for the nearest sketchbook and skated over the textured cover. Unbidden a smile curled over his mouth. It was rare that he owned something so indulgent as a proper sketchbook.
