Changing the minds of others really did seem like a noble pursuit, and she was right about the numbers gradually adding up in time. Even as took a slow sip once more that mind of his began turning as he considered just how he could go about trying something similar. "It helps that there's others like us here, I reckon, for the support and exchanging of ideas and whatnot. Really wouldn't have given another thought to how I was going about living, if it weren't for talking with you." He had spent so long just lingering at the shadows, part of the world but not quite since he'd always be alone...or at least that was the case till Tuck found his way here.
The news that werewolves were real was surprising, and his expression showed it too. Still as he continued to listen Jesse found himself having far more questions than before. Oh most were about these 'supernaturals' she mentioned, though he also found himself wondering other things too...like what Selene would look like if she just let go of that tight reign on her emotions. "I see. Never thought I'd find myself having a serious conversations in which werewolves were spoken of, still it's just one more interesting thing. And a new experience for sure, Selene."
Some parts of the police officer gig sounded interesting, and Tuck knew he'd give it serious thought later on down the road. Yet as things stood the man rarely looked beyond the present...and presently he had a whole new world to explore, plus the company of Selene, and his new friends as well, to occupy his time. "It sounds like quite a different change of pace than I'm used to for sure, but I'll give it a try some day. For now though, well there's a lot to see, and so much to do too."
