Jesse found himself enthralled as she spoke, drinking it every word and smiling as she held quite the captive audience. Oh he had conversed with countless people over the years, but this was truly the first time Tuck had had the chance to engage another immortal in conversation face to face. Just hearing about her travels, and little of her past as a princess of sorts, sated a need that he hadn't really realized was there until now. For too long he had been forced to hide in plain sight; never lingering long in any one place for fear of being found out, never truly getting to be open about himself at all. Here and now though, in the magical place called Preya, he had that chance to just honestly enjoy the company of another.
"I've traveled much of the world, and even likely crossed the paths you may have walked once or twice too. Can't say I ever had the pleasure of meeting a noble before now, but I've ridden across the fields of once mighty kingdoms and explored the ruins of places long since forgotten." The question she raised warranted a smile, and with a slight shrug he spoke up honestly. "Reckon it's been too long since I had a place to call home. Last time it was nearly...huh, two hundred and ten years or so. The locals burned it down, with us inside on account of think we were witches or something along those lines. After that we never settled down for too long, only staying a decade or so in any one place."
