Selene was a vision of beauty in that spectacular outfit, and it was hard not to find himself simply gazing at her for a spell. For his part though Jesse never bothered with weapons at all; granted when it came to that manner of thing the 'young man' just lacked the fear or cautious nature that others possessed. Of course it wasn't out of ignorance or arrogance really, Tuck merely had lost all sense of self preservation after having learned that he literally couldn't die or even be harmed. While most might think him a tad foolish or naive Jesse's carefree nature had simply become ingrained in him over the years.
That laugh of hers drew another smile; this one brighter than before. "Well you look like a princess for sure; regal and royal, elegant and radiant too." The briefest blush graced his cheeks when he realized he had actually said that all aloud, but he did his best to hide it for a moment by taking a sip from his glass. When she spoke up once more, and posed the questions, he chuckled a tad before offering a little nod. "Reckon it's been ages since I freely spoke about it, but after talking with ya'll the other day I suppose it's fine to share." He paused against to consider just where to start and at last he spoke up once more. "Well I'm an explorer of sorts; spent the last two centuries just wandering the world to see what was waiting out there. Before all that though my folks and I were set to be settlers, making our way out West. Halfway through the journey we came across this little spring...swear the water tastes like heaven itself." His eyes lit up and smile grew as the eternally young man recalled that first sip of the cool clear water.
"We didn't know, not at first. Had no way of knowing that the water changed us. But things strange things started happening, and after a time we realized that it was the water that had made us...well Immortal. It wasn't a fountain though, but another called it that...called it the fountain of youth."
