He was critical on James Bond, but it wasn't a bad thing. He was right. Most people took the movies for face value or as some sort of fantasy. Elliot, however, went a bit further, and he was right.
At the very least though, he was correct about his job.
"You're right about my job. It was the government. Didn't end... well." It ended in his friend's deaths. Roxy may have told him otherwise, but he still felt guilty over what happened. He should have been more cautious, then at least one of them could have been alive.
"Thanks, lad. Different isn't such a bad thing. Different makes the world go round. And let's be honest - us different folks keep the rest of these people in line and alive." Well, used to for Merlin anyway.
"This job isn't so bad. I've had worse. It seems everything in Preya is... okay, which is strange in and of itself." Shrugging his shoulders, he sipped his drink. "Maybe they pick 'different' people for a reason."
