Elliot jumped a little at being touched. "Don't touch me..." he responded quickly. Sharply. Shit, he didn't mean that. He didn't like people touching him but he didn't mean to be so rude about it. He always pushed people away in the end. His lack of social skills always played a factor in that dilemma.
"Um sure..." he replied apologetically. He wasn't sure. He was rarely sure when it came to human interaction. He wasn't very good at it. Sure, he could read people. He could understand details about people and could profile them easily enough. There wasn't one person he couldn't hack. To get to know details about a person made them all the easier to hack after all. That was how he got to know people. He hacked them.
It had been a long time since Elliot had really sat down to have a drink. His world didn't afford that luxury any more. The rich still drank in copious amounts and celebrated while the world around them sank. It was like they didn't realise they would be next to drown.
