When he slid his phone into his pocket, her free hand - which had been out of sight the entire time, engaged an app on her own phone to link the two together, pulling any relevant information and attaching a tracer that would ping her if he used it. She had a feeling it was a burner, but since he had it for the moment, it might be useful.
