Stiles opened his mouth, ready to defend himself, but Lydia was right. "Okay, yeah, but they never actually did it." His face might hurt right now, but he'd tell that guy the same thing again if he had to do it again.
Mitch didn't want to see Lydia like this. This was exactly why he told her not to come to the apartment. He didn't want Hurley knowing or seeing her and he didn't want Lydia to see anything. "He was fucking with my head. Using you and Katrina to do it."
"Who's Katrina?" Stiles asked but then said, "Never mind," when he saw the look on both of their faces.
Mitch stood up and walked over to Lydia. "I knew somebody would show up from home. It was only a matter of time. It's why I let you ask me anything and everything that night at your place. I'm not like you and your friends. The only thing we have in common is the fact that our lives are complicated and my complicated just showed up." And practically started a war. He left that part out, though. She was already far too worried and he didn't want to add to it.
