The one and only reason Sephiroth bothered with the carnival was on the vague hope that maybe, just maybe, these rumors about monsters might be true. Perhaps deep down he was a tad bored. He liked Everdale, no doubt, but he had been raised in city and in the hustle and bustle a large metropolis had. The loud hum of the carnival even at this early of an hour felt natural though he appreciated the press of the crowd less.
As Sephiroth moved down the walkway - long, pale hair swaying almost hypnotically behind him - he seemed to side step anyone who got too close. Stopping at a vendor he indulged in a funnel cake while watching the Ferris Wheel spin much to the delight of the occupants inside.
Well, almost all the occupants. Maybe the poor soul circling through the air above had eaten too much funnel cake or didn't have so rock solid a stomach. Either way, Sephiroth's keen ears picked up the retching sound above the call of the crowd. Before stepping back, he looked at the person standing next to him.
"You might want to take a few steps back." Before doing that exact thing himself.
Night time
Despite an increasing desire to leave this overcrowded venue, Sephiroth decided to stay for the fireworks. Leaning against a lamppost with a bottle of water in one gloved hand, he tilted his head back to view the multi-colored display splashing across the sky.
The last time he'd seen fireworks was in Junon after one of ShinRa's many victories. At the time, Sephiroth had been in parade along with a contigent of Soldier. The memory wasn't pleasant. The neutral expression on his face soon gave way to a frown as old memories threatened to crawl from their graves.
With a grunt he turned, ready to make his departure and not paying enough attention to his surroundings as a result. When he bumped into someone else, Sephiroth pulled to an immediate halt.
