Rose Tyler & the Twelfth Doctor
The Doctor caught Rose's skepticism, and smiled to himself; it was always difficult to fool her, and he was secretly proud to see how some things never change.
But it was her description about names that made him even more pleased. Long time ago, he'd given himself the name 'the Doctor' for very much the same reasons as she described, and wondered if he had any influence over Rose's thought process.
"It does make sense," he told her, "And I'm not drunk, or feeling exceptionally philosophical at the moment. Maybe that's why I like people to call me 'the Professor'." Or 'Doctor', for that matter. He paused and smirked. "Does this mean you're not telling me your name?"
