"It is you," Al said, grabbing Scorpius in a tight hug, without a care what it might look like for two six foot plus men to be hugging in the middle of a crowded street. "How the fuck are you here?"
He hadn't let himself hope that anyone he loved would be here, not wanting to be disappointed when it didn't happen. But here Scorpius was, in the flesh and everything. He drew back from the hug to study Scorpius. His friend looked just like he always had, tall and thin and beautiful.
"How long have you been here?" It had been a couple months since he'd seen Scorpius in person, but they'd kept in regular contact while Al had been traveling. But with the different timestreams represented, Scorpius could have been here years and Al wouldn't have known in his own timeline. Probably. He had no idea how this place worked really.
