Who: Vicki Donovan and Tyler Lockwood What: An emotional trainwreck? idk When: Late last night Where: Summerbridge - Slapjack's Diner Rating: TBD Status: In Progress
When Vicki had said she'd "be there in a few," she hadn't been kidding. This enhanced speed was actually one of her favorite things about being a vampire, even if she still didn't fully grasp what all it meant. All she had known back in Mystic Falls was that she needed to get away from there, from those people, so that she could think. She knew that Damon or Stefan would probably end up killing her otherwise. She just regretted that she hadn't been able to tell Matt or bring Jeremy with her, but realistically Vicki knew their lives would be better if she wasn't in them...despite the fact that she desperately missed them.
But okay - Preya wasn't too bad really. She had met Lucifer who'd actually helped her a helluva lot more than the Salvatores had seemed to want to, and he was even better in bed than Damon. Couple that with his sexy accent and she had been more than willing to take his blood, drugs, and listen to him. Unlike Tyler, Lucifer actually seemed to generally treat her with some measure of respect, at least. She still missed Jer, but she was trying to forget him so that he'd have a good life.
As she walked into the diner, Vicki automatically squinted a little. The place was bright and her vampirically-enhanced eyes didn't really like it, so it took her a moment to get used to it. With Lucifer's help, she had managed to be able to at least move slowly enough to seem human, and even simulate breathing - something she had never really had to think about in the past. Pushing her long hair back from her face, she sat in a booth by a window and relaxed, waiting for Tyler.
