Oh no. She was crying. Even if those were probably just overwhelmed happy tears, Levi had zero idea how to handle it. He froze up awkwardly before patting her on the back.
Eventually though, he got over his initial lack of social graces and melted into it, just a little, his hand resting on the back of her head. "I know," he said, because he did. Because he'd had his own moment of this, although it had been quiet and he'd been alone, he had been overwhelmed. Hell, he was overwhelmed still now, and figured he probably always would be to some extent. Just not always for the same reasons. "It's a lot. But it's only a start," he said finally.
