Isabel wasn't one to show weakness, not in front of where everyone could see her, that is. In private, probably once they were some place safe, Isabel would tell Levi just how frazzled she'd been pushing buttons on the strange device until she'd gotten a message through.
The hug was a little different from his usual ones and he surprised her by even returning her hug. Normally, he didn't. She frowned a little, ever curious, but she didn't say anything yet. "Yeah, well, not exactly like I got one of them fancy brushes," she retorted, playfully. She swatted his hand away from her head, pulling him closer again in a fierce hug. There really was something different going on around here, but maybe it wasn't her place to ask just yet. Not here.
"So..." She pulled back, rocking up and down on her heels comfortably as she stood back. "Where do you live, big bro? There's no underground here that I can see, and damned if that doesn't make me happy. That place was shittier than you look right now." She smirked a bit. "Tell me Erwin didn't bite your ass on the mission or something like that."
