Isabel always loved animals. That was how and why she and Levi had really met, because of a bird. Naturally, as soon as she found a place that had animals, she had navigated to there. She was currently sitting on the floor, a few cats around her as she happily paid attention to one of them. She heard the familiar voice, and she turned around where she was sitting and beamed brightly.
That was, until she saw him. Isabel frowned almost instantly. He looked different. Older. Sadder. She rose to her feet and rushed over at his side, but she stopped herself from hugging him on the spot. Just barely. Her dark eyes widened as she surveyed him closely, looking over him with a critical eye. One of the cats had decided to follow after her, and currently it was circling her feet, rubbing up against her leg happily.
"Big bro!" she stated cheerfully, her tone over excited. She was excited he was here, too, relieved that she wasn't alone. She didn't know everything that was different, but something definitely was. She wanted to hug him close, and after a quick moment of hesitation, Isabel tossed her arms around Levi, hugging him because she had very little filter when it came to expressing her emotions. The fact that she'd hesitated at all was more than enough. "You look like shit." She said it cheerfully, grinning, but entirely honest.
