Dean had told her a little bit about his life before Preya, but she had a feeling it was only skimming the surface. She never wanted to pry, and tried hard not to, but she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the comment. "You think you're a monster?" she asked. She couldn't help it. From what she could see, he was everything that was the complete opposite.
She couldn't help but laugh at his comment, shaking her head. "Well, maybe a bit when I was younger. But I think his outfit would just look good on you. Maybe you can make an 80s statement and just wear it around Preya for fun." She grinned, picturing Dean wandering around Preya with a puffy red vest on. "It'll start to get colder you know."
It was a brief reference to what had happened and she just nodded her head, wondering what things might start to happen around Preya. "Definitely learned to keep my guard up," she said, a sigh escaping her. "Never should have let it fall in the first place."
